WHQS provide an in-situ Kitchen survey & design service to our Clients, Contractors & their Tenants. Primarily working on behalf of National Kitchen Manufacturers within the Social Housing sector, we work closely with our Clients to survey & design Kitchens across large scale Kitchen improvement & Void programmes throughout the UK
We survey & design approximately 15,000 Kitchens per year, and as well as working on behalf of Kitchen manufacturers, WHQS also work directly for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Contractors, Student Accommodation Landlords, and other Social Housing & Private Housing providers.
Having formed the company in 2008 and having worked within the Social Housing sector for over 24 years, our Directors have a clear vision of what is required to enable us to provide the very best in-situ Kitchen survey & design service to our Clients across the UK.
Our Surveyor/Designers are located throughout the UK and are the core of our business. We provide excellent training, and work closely with our Surveyors to continuously improve the services we offer. With their time, dedication, and expertise we are able to offer the following services:
- Provide a fully In-situ Kitchen survey & design service
- Liaise closely with Tenants on the proposed design and consider appliances, utilities and future changes
- Design each Kitchen on an individual basis
- Demonstrate a virtual tour of each Kitchen to the Tenant
- Print off a fully noted plan of the new Kitchen design and & obtain a signature of approval
- Upload CAD files to the Kitchen Manufacturer
- Email approved plans & update Contractor, Kitchen Manufacturer & Client of progress on the survey day/s
- Take before photos of each kitchen for future reference
- Manage & track the survey programme on behalf of our Clients, and provide a regular update
- Book & manage Kitchen survey & design appointments
- Provide Good practice Kitchen designs, meet Design requirements and adhere to UK regulations
- Meets our Clients Design specification for each project
- Aim to achieve Decent Homes & The Welsh Housing Quality Standard
