The Job:
You will be expected to provide our Clients, Contractors and their Tenants with the very best in-situ Kitchen survey and design service available to them. Primarily working in the Social Housing Sector our locally employed or self-employed Surveyor/Designers will be work closely with our Contractors on projects from small one off’s to large-scale Main Improvement programmes.
The ideal applicant will be customer service driven, have a can-do attitude and have excellent IT skills.

Are you the right person for the job?
- Applicants will have had regular/daily experience in completing Kitchen designs for their present or previous Kitchen supplier, manufacturer or showroom.
- Experience using Fusion 2020 software is desirable for this role, but other Kitchen design software experience will be considered.
- Experience of working in occupied properties, especially Landlord or Social Housing providers is desirable.
- Excellent IT Skills
- Working as a part of a team, whilst also managing their own work is a must.
- Previous self-employment experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Your own car is essential to fulfil this role, mileage allowance payable.
What will your role as a Kitchen Designer/Planner look like?
- You will liaise closely with our Partnered Clients & Contractors to provide them with the very best in-situ Kitchen design service available throughout the UK.
- You will deliver “Right 1st Time” Kitchen Designs within occupied properties for our Social Housing Clients & Contractors.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the completed designs meet the project/design brief provided by our Clients and fully comply with regulations, best practice & are of a safe design.
- You will be responsible for uploading the completed designs to our appointed Kitchen Manufacturer on a daily basis, along with any relevant paperwork required.
- You will be assigned daily work/appointments by WHQS to ensure we meet our Contractors Main Improvement Kitchen Programmes
- This not a sales based role, as our main focus is providing our Partnered Kitchen Manufacturers, Clients, and Contractors with the very best Kitchen planning service available to them.
- Applicants should expect regular regional travel and very occasional overnight stays.
